During the summer months enjoy lounging by the pool or under the shaded large terrace on the comfy garden sofa. Ensure to stay cool by making use of the poolside shower. Villa Zahar is surrounded by a dramatic mountain scenery and has a number of fruit trees in the private garden. The nearest town is Periana, 6 minutes drive from Mondron. There you will find many restaurants, bars, supermarket, banks, nightclubs and many other convenience shops.
Despite being a small village, Mondron has 2 bars, 2 mini markets and 2 restaurants. A taxi service is available from Mondron. Visit the local olive oil co-operative for the delightful olive oil extracted from the local crops.

My personal favourite is restaurant Cantueso, offering a delicious menu within a breathtaking scenery. It is only 10 minutes drive from Villa Zahar and booking in advance is advisable for this popular restaurant.
